EXECUTIVE BOARD
The LASA Executive Board consists of the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, and the Treasurer. Each member is responsible communicating with the Center for Student Engagement (CSE) and the Student Activities Commission (SAC) to coordinate logistics, budgeting, and successful execution of LASA events. Additionally, the Executive Board oversees our other teams and collaborates with them to organize and promote activities throughout the semester.
Philanthropy team
The Philanthropy Team works to identify areas of need and develop fundraising strategies to support numerous causes within the Latin American community. We collaborate with local and international non-profit organizations and charities to maximize our impact and create positive social change.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TEam
The Professional Development Team supports the growth of our members through a variety of networking and learning opportunities. Through resume workshops, speaker events with specialists, and collaborations with the Cawley Career Center, we aim to help our members reach their professional goals.
Social events team
The Social Events team plans diverse social events throughout the semester to promote inclusive community-building and student engagement. Members have enjoyed fostering close friendships through family picaderas, World Cup watch parties, Latin game nights, Potomac boat parties, and more!
MARKETING Team
The Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing communication plans, managing social media accounts, drafting bi-weekly newsletters, and creating content for the LASA website. The creativity and dedication of our marketing officers have allowed for increased content engagement from local and international audiences as well as the successful promotion of LASA initiatives.
